Guidance Support Team

Your allocated Guidance Support Tutor (GST) will monitor your wellbeing and development throughout your time at college. They will provide weekly timetabled sessions, known as Prep. These are a mandatory aspect of your study programme and include developmental activities around positive approaches to education and personal development. In addition, you will undertake regular reviews with your tutor and have guided support with study skills and career progression. GSTs will also use this time to support you with any developing struggles or concerns.

Your GST is devoted to helping you realise your ambitions through careers and Higher Education information. They will help you with your job or university applications and will write a reference for you. Our GSTs also work in partnership with students, parents and teachers to ensure that you reach your full potential, engage fully and make appropriate progress.
