Packed full of opportunity to explore your creativity, the Performance Academy allows you to build a programme to nurture your talent and really develop as a performer.

Special Entry Requirements
The entry requirements depend on the courses that you choose to create your Performance Academy experience.
Admission to the Performance Academy is confirmed by audition.
A Levels and Applied Generals require 4 GCSEs at grade 4 including GCSE English Language and/or Maths. When you have selected the courses you are interested in you can see more information by looking under each specific course on the website.
Joining the Academy allows you to create a timetable which suits your development needs and your individual career goals.
Course Introduction
With A Levels and Applied Generals at its heart, the programme offers additional projects and experiences to enhance your CV. We provide opportunities to work with Industry professionals and to take part in trips and placements.
Through the study of performance both practically and theoretically, you will have a strong grounding for University or Drama School.
You will be involved in a minimum of four performances over the two years.

Creative Consultants
The Creative Consultants are industry experts who will run specialism sessions and share their expertise with the Performance Academy students. Click on a case study to read it in full.

Assessment
The assessments differ depending on the course. All students will receive specific support for applications to higher education and/or drama school, including audition preparation.

You will need to complete an online application - please remember you also need to apply for A Level Drama in order to join the Performance Academy.
