You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 including English and Maths.
The T Level in Accounting is aimed at students who want to progress onto the role of Assistant Accountant. Careers in accounting are well respected and there is good potential for career and salary growth within the industry. If you enjoy crunching numbers and organising data, the T Level in Accounting is an excellent choice.
One of the big advantages of taking a T Level is the industry placements. You will spend 80% of time at college and 20% of time on placement. This amounts to a minimum of 9 weeks’ work experience which will help you to differentiate yourself when applying for jobs in the future.
The T Level is equivalent to 3 A Levels and will allow you to gain an industry recognised qualification which enables to you to progress further on completion and achieve chartered status. Following the course you could go onto employment, higher education or a higher apprenticeship.
Assessments are made up of exams and externally assessed projects including an employer-led assessment.
