X Factor
Choose your X Factor!
Here you have a real choice to start or continue with an activity that you would like to do between September and Easter 2012. There is wide range of activities to pick from that will become your X factor! The idea is that you select something that you are interested in and that this will add breadth to your time at college.
The great majority run either on Wednesday afternoons or Thursday lunchtimes, it will be part of your normal college timetable. It is the opportunity to have fun, meet new people and to help you try something different whilst you are at the college.
It could be something that you already do and that you want to continue with, that you already regularly spend 2+ hours a week doing outside of college and that is a properly organised activity – you can elect to choose that as your X factor.
Your X factor will strengthen your eventual university/employment application – it will help you stand out from the crowd – show you in a broader light – and so give you an advantage in your next career move.
